What is CREST?

CREST stands for Creation of Sustainable Tourism Destinations
established in May, 2006 and ended in April, 2008. The project had
seven partners and The County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland
was the Lead Partner of CREST.

Creating Sustainable
Tourism Destinations

The activites took place in four islands and one coastal town within
the North Sea Region. Participating destinations were the islands of Læsø
in Denmark, the islands of Koster in Sweden, the islands of Hvaler in
Norway, Orkney Islands and the coastal town Whitby in the United Kingdom.
